PAWSOME PET CARE
All our sitters are passionate about animals and their welfare and understand how important it is for you to have peace of mind whilst you're away.
Our pet business insurance covers all our sitters. They've been DBS checked and are happy to be checked again if you would like to arrange it.
Our priority on any sit is for you to enjoy your time away, knowing your home and pets are safe and lovingly cared for.
Below is introductory information about our sitters.
If you'd like to become a sitter with us,
I've had a huge passion for dogs since I was a young child. I am an only child and a poodle was like my older brother! βWhen that poodle passed away, another joined me as my younger “brother” and best friend. We went everywhere together, apart from school.
As an adult, I’ve had my own dogs and cats. At one time when our children were young, we had 3 golden retrievers, 2 Coton de Tuléar and 9 cats and they were one big happy family! π
My last retriever died 4 years ago. Since then I've looked after other people’s pets and I must have completed over a hundred sits now. I've sat for lots of different breeds of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters even chickens!
I love & care for each pet as if they are my own. π
Over the years, I've had lots of varied experience with pets including an incontinent cat, a nearly blind dog, a dog badly injured from an attack and pets needing regular medication. I love the outdoors and I’m an experienced dog walker.
I’m a business coach and primarily look after my customers remotely via phone and the internet, so I can easily fit that around looking after your pets and giving them the attention they deserve at the times they need it.
I’m used to caring for multiple pets, puppies, older dogs, rescue pets, nervous pets, challenging pets and everything in between.
Beth is my daughter and grew up with lots of cats and dogs.
She's the one who introduced me to house and pet-sitting.
She got into sitting when a friend asked her to sit for his 13-year-old dog. He was blind in one eye, nearly blind in the other and on lots of medication, but she still found him adorable. π
She's since looked after many client's pets, including a Cavachon puppy, French Bulldog, Jug, Neopolitan Mastiffs plus cats and a tortoise.
Beth works from home and can easily fit her work around looking after your pets.
Adrian is a dear friend.
When we met 30 years ago we both had cats and he's been around cats and dogs for much of his adult life.
He lived in my house and lovingly looked after my 3 Golden Retrievers many times. π
He still has a cat of his own now and leaves her with his partner when he's sitting at client homes.
Adrian's dog clients have included Labradors, Bernedoodles, a Vizsla, a rescue Corgi, a Frencton, a Labradoodle puppy and 2 Shih Tzu.
He works from home some days and is able to fit business meetings around the needs of his pet clients.
Kate and I have been good friends for several years.
She grew up in a house with the family dog, cat and 2 tortoises and she wanted to be a Zoologist for a considerable amount of time.
Earning pocket money in the local neighbourhood feeding cats while owners were away, she did a ‘dream-sit’ as a teenager sitting a huge house for a week with a dog, two cats, a flock of ducks and a brood of chickens. π
Animals and nature are an integral part of her life, whether trail-running in the countryside, spending time with her beloved cat Summer, or being given the opportunity to spend time exploring new places and being with other people’s pets.
Kate works part-time and is often able to manage her schedule so she can be in your home, spending time with your beloved pets as much as possible.
Ellis and his family have been friends of mine for years.
He's always loved dogs and has lots of experience of caring for different breeds.
When a client asked me to look after her Cockerpoo and I was unavailable, I knew she would be in safe hands with Ellis and the client agreed. π
He's also sat for a Labrador puppy, a Puggle and a Pug cross.
In his last year of A-Levels, Ellis is available for local sits and drop-in visits.
I was introduced to Lucy by a client.
We walked the client's dog together and I quickly saw that Lucy shared many of my values and, like me, adored dogs and cats. π
She's cared for puppies from eight weeks old to fully grown dogs and senior dogs.
Her pet care experience also includes cats, reptiles and fish.
Lucy works full time, but is able to work from home on certain week days and is willing to take days off to take care of your pets. She can always be free on the weekend.
I met Millie when her parents asked me to sit for their puppy while they were away on holiday.
She lives with her parents and enjoys loving, playing and caring for the family's Cavachon puppy.
When another client asked me to feed their cat when they were on holiday and I was already booked, I thought of Millie, because she lived around the corner.
Millie visited the client's home and fed their cat for 2 weeks. They were delighted. π
She's available for local sits and drop-in visits.
